We had the great opportunity to visit Fox Hollow Elementary, where Krista's kids attend school, and teach 4 classes about dental care! We went to a 5th, 3rd, and two kindergarten classes. It was great to teach different age groups and see what each grade knew about taking care of your teeth. We read them a book about tooth decay with our puppet George the Germ, talked about the importance of visiting your dentist for regular teeth cleanings every 6 months, what foods were good and bad for your teeth, what to expect when you come to the dentist and some of the tools we use (and that it's not that scary after all), and did a demonstration of how to floss your teeth! It was a very entertaining day for Krista and Ali as you can tell!

The Smiths were shown into the dentist's office, where Mr. Smith made it clear he was in a big hurry.
"No fancy stuff, Doctor," he ordered, "No gas or needles or any of that stuff. Just pull the tooth and get it over with."
"I wish more of my patients were as stoic as you," said the dentist admiringly. "Now, which tooth is it?"
Mr. Smith turned to his wife Sue. "Show him, honey."

Dental Humor
A dentist, after completing work on a patient, came to him begging.
Dentist - "Could you help me? Could you give out a few of your loudest, most painful screams?"
Patient- "Why Doc? It wasn't bad at all this time.
Dentist- "There are so many people in the waiting room right now, and I don't want to miss my four o'clock tee time."
